Anglian Home Surveyors Ltd is owned by Senior Surveyor Raphael Stipic, an established, fully qualified, accredited and truly independent Residential Building Surveyor in Cambridge.
"Anglian Home Surveyors focus on providing professional and reliable surveying products on residential properties only, including historic buildings. We offer a personal service to all of our clients, including spending time talking to clients before a survey to fully understand their surveying needs, and again straight after a survey so they are fully aware of all of the key issues prior to the report being issued. My primary role is to help a client to understand the property they are buying and to remove some of the associated uncertainty and stress."
Raphael is an active board member of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA), representing members in the East of England. The RPSA is a highly respected organisation which promotes the need for house surveys for property buyers, and its code of practice ensures the highest professional standards for surveyors.
The RPSA is a representative body for independent specialist residential surveyors who are accredited by the internationally recognised Building Research Establishment (BRE) and Surveyor And Valuer Accreditation (SAVA), which is part of National Energy Services (NES).
The RPSA is dedicated to working for its members to deliver a range of surveying products of the highest possible quality to serve the needs of consumers. The Home Condition Survey (HCS) is the first of these products, which is now being distributed nationally through a specially created panel working with homebuyers' conveyancers.
Raphael is also a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). This is a membership organisation fighting to save historic and listed buildings from decay, demolition and destruction. SPAB represents the practical and positive side of conservation. The organisation has a firm set of principles about how old buildings should be repaired and the practical knowledge to show how these can be put into effect.
Raphael is also a Full Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (FPWS). The objective of the FPWS is to promote the highest standards of professional practice in this field of expertise and to expand the knowledge and study of all matters to do with party walls, to encourage the exchange of information and ideas amongst its members.
